Short answer: Yes, you can dive in Morro even if you've never done it. The discover dive at Caitá Island is done with an instructor, among fish and coral, from age 10. From R$ 300 per person, underwater photos included.

What is a discover dive?

A first dive with a tank, always hand in hand with an instructor, at shallow depth. Before going down there's a short briefing at the surface on breathing and hand signals.

Where is it?

At Caitá Island, close to Morro, with clear water, colorful fish and coral. You get there by boat.

How much does it cost?

Who can do it?

Anyone from age 10, no experience needed, who feels comfortable in the water. If you have health concerns (ears, blood pressure, pregnancy), ask us first.

When is best?

From September to March the sea is usually calmer and clearer. In bad weather, the trip is rescheduled.
